One thing that always pops up when you are looking at ways to make money online is a scam. They are frustrating and make your search for a legitimate online position a time consuming one, after all we have to trawl our way through all the trash before we get to the real money making solutions.

So what scam have I uncovered today? Well actually it was yesterday... I uncovered a product testing scam.

Most likely you will receive an email like this:

Hi, thank you for contacting us.


We need 15 participants that are willing to test a popular weight 

loss product and/or a new colon cleansing product on a daily basis 

for fourteen days.


These products have been promoted on many T.V stations across 

the USA, being endorsed by popular US celebrities including Kim 

Kardashian. As the products are going through a trial launch in 

the UK, we have been fortunate enough in receiving a handful of 

free trials.


If you plan to participate then the following needs to be done:


1) You must select either the Acai Berry weight loss offer or the 

Colon Cleanse offer. If you decide to do both trials, you will be 

paid twice the amount.


--ACAI WEIGHT LOSS OFFER--: http://bit.ly/9t3dvF, complete the 

following short form and you will receive your free Acai Berry 

weight loss trial pack. Depending on your location, there may be 

a slight postage & packaging fee, this small charge will be 

reimbursed at the end of the 14 days. Once you have filled out 

the short form on the website, you will be taken to a second page 

where you should apply the coupon code "WEIGHTLOSS". The 

advertiser has informed us that this will give our UK trialists 

almost free postage and packaging, only costing around $3(~£2) 

instead of the full shipping cost.

--COLON CLEANSE OFFER--: http://bit.ly/bQl7bJ, complete the 

following short form and you will receive your free Acai Berry 

weight loss trial pack. Depending on your location, there may 

be a slight postage & packaging fee, this small charge will 

be reimbursed at the end of the 14 days. Once you have filled out 

the short form on the website, you will be taken to a second page 

where you should apply the coupon code "RISKFREE". Once again, 

the advertiser has informed us that this will give our UK 

trialists almost free postage and packaging, only costing around 

$3(~£2) instead of the full shipping cost.


2) After you have submitted your order for the free trial, 

please email us back with your name, confirmation/order number, 

phone number and your address.


3) Once you have received the free trial, we will then contact 

you within a few days to detail product testing time frames, 

informing you when you need to use the product during the 14 

day trial period.



Requirements:


1) Must be aged 18+


2) Must be willing to have a before and after photo taken if 

required, i.e. before and after use, no face shot will be taken.


3) Must not be on any medication that restricts the use of these 

products. The products in question are suitable for adults and 

do not require a prescription or consultation with any health 

professional before use.


* Spots are filling up quickly, so to reserve your spot, get 

your trials ASAP. We are being contacted by dozens of people each 

hour. As you have received this email it means there is still a 

spot available for you, failure to claim your spot within 24 hours 

will almost definitely mean it will be reserved for someone else.


You will receive a payment of £1250.00 at the end of your free 

trial for your participation , a photo shoot will take place at a 

yet to be confirmed hotel location local to you. *(Remeber, if you 

carry out the trials for both products, you will be paid £1250 per 

trial).



This study is being undertaken by MarketVistaUK, who are in no way 

connected to the manufacturer of the product. Our trial testing 

will be to see whether the product would be successful for launch 

in the UK by companies who wish to co brand the product which is 

patented under US law. Please do not call the vendor companies 

asking any questions regarding this product study, because their 

employee personnel will be unaware of it as their marketing is 

outsourced to independent companies.

Yet this is not as legitimate as it and the website may appear. If you look carefully you are not giving your card detail for a minor payment of £2 (or there abouts), but a direct debit of about £60. They give you 10 days to cancel and make it very difficult to do so. Most of their emails and telephone numbers don't work and if you are lucky enough to get through to someone they will try to get out of cancelling every which way, or asking you to use an alternative route to cancel. Stick to your guns though and they will most likely tell you they are cancelling your order but you are unlikely to get a written confirmation of this, so you have to take their word.

Cancelling with your credit / debit card company is incredibly difficult as there is still a possibility that they may be able to take payment out of your account even if you change your account number and card.

So please DO NOT fall for this scam!!!!!
