Big breakfasts, backgammon and e-books

We started the day with a Full English and then I went through about 10 short videos on how to Write and sell e-books online. In the absence of much work at the moment I think I will try my hand at this next year. Research a niche market that needs some problems solves and then write an e-book helping to solve those problems. There's a lot more to it of course, setting up a website and sorting out the payments. The guy who has made the videos suggests paying other people to write the books but as a journalist I would find that a bit strange. Anyway, writing is the bit I love!

In the afternoon we played backgammon and Scrabble (I won backgammon and my partner won Scrabble). The weather is atrocious at the moment so we didn't feel like going out. I have settled down with James Joyce's 'The Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man'. A great book. Bet Joyce could write a great blog.
