Yippee! I got home this morning to find out that I have been paid for my monthly news commission. Unfortunately it is the last big Payment – this was the magazine that cut my work (and money) in half so next month (Christmas – ahhhh!) I will get under £600.

The American woman who I’ve been in contact with emailed again to ask if I would be interested in writing some articles – not much dosh but useful regular payments. They pay at the end of each week - 24 hours after you have submitted a batch. Might be good from a cash-flow perspective! She has suggested a trial article so she can see the standard of my writing – and I can see how long the whole thing takes!

The central heating came on today. Brrrrrrr. I’ve been used to my boyfriend’s electric blanket. I think the winter duvet will go on tonight. I need my sleep to dream about new ways of making money before Christmas.
