This total, as reported by companies participating in the Cutting Tool Market Report collaboration, was up 5.6 percent from April’s $203.68 million and up 12.1 percent when compared with the $191.93 million reported for May 2017. With a year-to-date total of $999.82 million, 2018 is up 10.1 percent when compared with 2017.
