CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Our client, one of the largest and prestigious local banks, having a nationwide network of branches, coupled
with a global market prominence that supports high growth banking business, is looking for a dynamic and
challenge-oriented banking professional to be based at its Karachi Head Office. The incumbent's role involves
providing the vision, strategic planning and leadership for developing and implementing the project
financing function.
- WING HEAD - PROJECT FINANCE
Key Functions
TO manage multiple specialised teams working on multiple transactions simultaneously
TO independently originate new project finance mandates (lead arrangements and participations) and meet
assigned fee income targets for the Wing
TO be able to structure conventional and shariah complaint project financing transactions and coordinate
between Project Company, sponsors, lenders, Sha riah Advisors and legal Advisors
To be able to strengthen the relationship with existing and prospective clients for generating new businesses
To be able to maintain strong liaison and contact with key government departments/ regulators such as SBP,
NEPRA, AEDB and PPIB etc
TO be able to maintain relationship with other local and foreign financial institutions active in project
finance lending
TO maintain primary responsibility for all execution activities pertaining to project finance mandates including
documentation, due diligence, credit approvals, distribution and financial modeling
TO be able to communicate effectively with various internal departments such as Credit. CAD, International
Banking and Regional Corporate Centers as required, for the successful closure of transactions
QualificationAge and Experience
MBA (Any Specialisation) from an HEC recognized College/University/lnstitute; ACCA/ CFA/ JAIBP or any other
relevant professional qualification will be preferred
Age: Upto 50 years;
About 15 years’ relevant experience at a commercial bank/DFI in the areas Of corporate banking
(conventional or Islamic), corporate credit, Investment Banking, structured finance. Preference will be given
to those with project finance transaction experience is necessary
Other Skills and, Expert!“
- Must be proficient in the use Of Microsoft Office core applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
and Outlook
- Candidates having attended Workshops/ seminars/ trainings in areas such as investment banking, M&A,
corporate finance, capital markets, financial modelling will be preferred
