- Academic Qualification- Master Degree in relevant subject from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST)or its equvalent grade with a 2nd class in the Bachelor’s Degree and have passed NET in the concern subject (The Candidates who have Ph.D. Degree does not need NET/SLET/SET).
- Age Limit- 21-33 years as on 01-Jan-2017 (Age Relaxation as per Govt rules for reserved category).

- General/OBC- Candidates have to pay Rs. 200/- through online.
- SC/ST/PWD candidates of Odisha- Exempted from fee.
Mode of Selection:- The Commission shall Short-list the candidates for interview on the basis of evaluation of their academic career from HSC or equivalent examination to Post Graduate examination.
