T.H. Glennon Co., Salisbury, Mass., is pleased to announce that Richard Stewart has joined the company as National Sales Manager. Richard will manage the sales force that represent the company’s line of Colorfast landscape mulch colorants for wood, rubber and aggregate, as well as the Mulch Color Jet equipment.
Over the past four years, Richard was active as consultant and product representative to the mulch and soil industry. He designed and implemented manufacturing processes, assisted with product development, and created revenue streams designed to integrate seamlessly into existing production formats and providing vetted products. Clients ranged from regional start-ups to international corporations.
Richard comes to T.H. Glennon from Custom Milling Consultants. We are thrilled to have him join the team as his decades of experience in the industry will be a great advantage to the company.
In 2005, Richard became vice president of Agrarian Technology, and became its president in 2009. The company is dedicated to organic Agra/Bio technologies. This career choice brought Richard to work closely with Dr. “Tee” seen at Clemson University and his team on the study of organic nutritional products for agriculture and related sciences.
In 1997, Richard launched State Line Bark Mulch in Folkston, Georgia, which grew into a 130-acre manufacturing and packaging facility. He developed the organic compost soil lines Wild Earth Nursery and Wild Earth Products there, both of which are still manufactured and distributed in the Northeast Florida market.
In 1992, Richard founded Master Trucking Co., specifically for commercial delivery of mulch and soil products.
In 1985, Richard founded Mulch Masters, Inc., with garden centers located in Northeast Florida. He still holds trademarks and licenses associated with proprietary products today.
Richard has been married to his wife Lesia for 36 years. He is father of two, Amanda (FL) and Christopher (CO), and resides in Fla. Richard enjoys boating and fishing on the St. Johns River and working on the family farm in Mississippi.
