Tell me about the best Boss you ever had.

Sample answer: I normally don’t think of it as the best or worst boss as I can work with many different types of people and under different management styles. I would say though that my last boss really played best to my strengths. I am a self-starter and my boss empowered me to take on additional responsibilities. I really grew into the job and my supervisor’s confidence in me allowed me to excel. I also liked that his door was always open and no question was considered stupid. It allowed me to avoid any miscommunications or mistakes before they happened. He was quick to give praise but at the same time gave excellent constructive criticism.
