Thank you for the memories

Take a trip back in time to May of 1991 at the Anatole Hotel for the Worldwide ERC’s National Relocation Conference. During that event two events took place which would shape my work for over a quarter of a century. The first was the suggestion from a member of the ERC staff that based on the effort I put into passing the Certified Relocation Professional designation I should turn it into a review class for future exam takers. The second was the circumstance to meet Linda Pitt from Re/Max Associates. The later led me to facilitate my first CRP Boot Camp for 9 individuals from the Colorado Springs market.

Over the following 28 years I have had the pleasure of helping approximately 1000 Relocation Professionals prepare and satisfactorily complete the process of earning their CRP designation. Along the way I have met some phenomenal relocation professionals who are dedicated to this industry. I have had the pleasure of having our Program supported by some great programs like Crye-Leike Realtors, Bank of America, Unigroup, Oakwood Corporate Housing, Watson Realty Corporation, Citigroup, Marriott and others. Sorry if we left out any continuous clients.

There is an old song and biblical verse which states that “to everything there is a season and a time to every purpose.” I have reached that season and that time. For 28 years I devoted the first five months of the year to ensuring that the review material I supplied was updated for the most recent information. At the same time my business has evolved in a different location. I left the real estate industry in 2004 because I was not using my broker’s license. The level of my mobility business outside of the boot camp has dwindled to nearly the bottom of the business services. I became engrossed in the area of change management in organizations.

Since 2005 with the release of Just Get Me There: A Journey through Corporate Relocation, I have released four books (Achieving HR Excellence through Six Sigma 2013; Field Guide to Achieving HR Excellence through Six Sigma 2016; and The Excellent Education System: Using Six Sigma to Transform Schools 2017) and am working on five more.

My time now is devoted on helping organizations develop empowered teams. The techniques apply regardless of what industry you are in. If we can help your organization build better teams, please let me know. The quality of the programs you expected from the CRP Boot Camp are delivered in my Road to —–Excellence programs. If you do not find these programs to be of assistance at this time, feel free to stay in touch and let me know if I can ever be of any assistance.

Once again thank you for the memories, the friendships and the opportunity to provide you a vehicle for career development. Please stay in touch by email ([email protected]); phone (727-581-6216) or subscribe to our blog at either https://tlscontinuum.com/blog or https://dbaiconsulting.com/blog.
