FAMU alumni create travel fund for architecture students to gain experience abroad

In honor of long-time FAMU Professor Eduardo “Lalo” Robles’ continuing service for nearly three decades in the School of Architecture and Engineering Technology (SAET), alumni of the school announced a travel fund in his name.

Their goal is to create an endowment, which will help students participate in study abroad programs. Lalo strongly believes in the educational value of study abroad and the alumni group united to acknowledge his invaluable and important contributions in this area.

“Lalo” has taught a broad range of classes from foundation design studios to graduate level courses. His passion for architecture, urban design, and study abroad programs has made a significant contribution to FAMU and its students.
