Liverpool FC Renews Kunming Partnership
The English Premier League side has renewed its commitment to support a youth coaching programme in the Chinese city of Kunming as part of a long-term partnership with the Kunming Municipal Bureau of Education. SportAccord Announces Beijing Event

EPL Launches Chinese App
The Premier League has launched an official app exclusively in Mandarin for fans in China. The platform will provide tailored content for Chinese supporters, including access to the latest news from English football’s top flight, as well as interviews and notifications for starting line-ups, goal updates and links to Chinese broadcasters showing live matches. Inter Milan Dials In China Unicom
Serie A side FC Internazionale Milano has partnered with China Unicom, one of the top three telecommunications operators in China. Under this partnership, China Unicom will offer a specialised branded SIM card for Inter Milan fans. Shanghai SIPG Claims CSL Title
SIPG won their first ever CSL trophy in front of their own fans on Wednesday, beating Beijing Renhe 2-1 to seal the title, having seen off second-placed Guangzhou Evergrande in a pulsating 5-4 win in Guangzhou last weekend. The victory puts an end to the Evergrande hegemony over the CSL, with Guangzhou having won the last 7 iterations of the tournament. Read more on Xinhua (English)

Winter Season is Coming
The China Tourism Academy expects visitor numbers to rise to 340 million in the 2021-22 winter season, up from about 170 million in 2016-17, according to Xinhua News Agency.

Esports Triumph for IG
Wang Sicong, son of Wanda boss Wang Jianlin, has seen his Chinese esports team, named IG, win a LOL World championship. This is the first time a team from Mainland China has achieved this feat.
