Bharatiya Janata Party Mla Lokendra Singh today died in a road accident.
Singh, an MLA from Bijnor’s Noorpur in Uttar Pradesh, died in a collision between his car and a truck in Sitapur.
Singh, 45, was on his way to the ‘Investors Meet’ in Lucknow, which will be inaugrated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, when his Fortuner going at a high-speed collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction.
Two of his gunners, identified as Brijesh Mishra, 28, and Deepak Kumar, 30, and the driver of the truck also died in the accident.
