Proving that pretty much anything can be turned into geeky merch, ThinkGeek has just unveiled a whole set of tiki-themed mugs from Guardians of the Galaxy. With the Guardians also saving us from the throes of winter with a May release this year, it’s well-timed.

When the Guardians do the beach, they don’t do it cheaply. The set of six mugs (Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Groot, Drax, and Baby Groot) are all made of ceramic, and are all around 7″ tall. I say around because this is ThinkGeek, and you know the attention to detail is going to be there — the Groot mug is a bit taller, while the Baby Groot and Rocket mugs are a bit shorter. We’d say they’re all equally represented as tikis, but that’s not quite true, either — the Groots, being of a wooden nature, seem to fit the mold a little better.

Because they’re just as much of a family as the Fast and Furious crew is (well, almost), the tiki mug set isn’t being broken up. ThinkGeek is only selling them as a set of six for $80.
