Prepare Thanksgiving Meal with TWO Steps!

Rewind 3 years and it was my first time making Thanksgiving dinner. And of course, I wanted it to be perfect and inevitably made mistakes along the way. Ingredient substitutions had to be made, reheating the green bean casserole happened a couple times, and the turkey was dry. Like really dry….

I know I’m not the only one who has had these same experiences and I am sure through the years there will always be ups and downs for preparing such a large meal for a group of people.

So I took that and made a few printables to help manage Thanksgiving. (And it’s already started to help a ton!)

Follow these 2 steps and your Thanksgiving Day will be a breeze!

First things first, figure out what you’re cooking. Get all your recipes in one place. The first printable is an outline of what you will be making, how long it will take to make, and if there are any crazy instructions you may forget about but are important.

Second, take your recipes and add all the ingredients that you need to your shopping list. I’ve also found it helpful to put the amount of what you are needing, because you may need more or less then you think while you’re at the store.

BONUS! With all this preparation, it can still be inevitable that you’re missing an ingredient or run out of something. So, with this handy-dandy substitution printable you will be okay and won’t have to have your computer on standby.
