First think of all the companies that annoy you the most with their incessant emails. Its good to open a couple of those emails, click on "show content" and then "unsubscribe" at the bottom of the email. Even though you're mass deleting the items you don't want out of your email, without first doing this step you'll just receive them over and over.

Step 2

Go to your inbox. Go to the search box on the top right of your inbox and put in the name of one of the companies and click on the magnifying glass. All of the emails from this company will come up.

Step 3

Delete all of these items...making sure to not accidentally delete emails from someone you'd like to save. For example..if you are deleting emails from "walmart"..don't accidentally delete an email from you niece telling you what birthday gifts she might like from Walmart. Or else...she'll end up with a shoe shine kit...and thats no good.
