New forms of Marketing are springing up everywhere in likely and unlikely places. Here are two examples of out-of-home ads that are turning heads and drawing a lot of attention.

The first is from Sweden. This video for a Hair product, blows the model’s hair as the train goes by. Here is a video from Apoteck. Just think of the possibilities of tying video to real-world and real-time events.

The next example is form Samsung Galaxy phones and uses near-field communications. Near-filed communications has been around for some time and you’ve probably heard it mentioned more for using your Phone as your wallet. Basically, when you wave a smartphone over a NFC compatible device you can send information without needing to touch the devices together. Galaxy allowed phone owners to download music and eBooks to their phone just by getting close to the person in the poster. Here is a video about the Galaxy phone experience because it’s “more than an ad, it’s a content delivery system as well.”
