According to dictionary.com, the word "relationships" is defined as -
A particular type of connection existing between people related to or having dealings with each other: has a close relationship with his siblings.
To me an effective relationships is to understand what the other person really needs and wants by listening with the heart and not with it's one's ears.
We have to constantly ask ourselves, are we looking upon prospect or Potential Business partners as units of production or friends for life that we mentored and coached for life. As we are all aware Network Marketing is about teaching and mentoring as featured in my Success In Ten Steps free E-book.
As for me, when I started working in this Business, I regards Potential Business Partners as just partners in my business and sometimes we do not concerned about their lives. Until lately, I started reading Michael's Success In Ten Steps, I then realize that in order to be successful in Network Marketing, establishing a solid foundation in relationship is very important.
Companies rise and fall, products come and go, but partners' relationships build on trust, love, concern, care and support will last for a lifetime. Do you see lots of relationships within families disintegrating in this modern society? Yes, we do, but not much as compare to the companies or even the products...
In fact, I have learned an effective way to build relationships is from another Michael of www.naturalselling.com. He stress that we have to see with our heart and listen with our soul, he has a formula of inviting your potential business partners.
Recently, I was prospected by a fellow networker from another company. But she was not happy with her mentor and was confused on how to develop her network marketing business. So, I told her I am willing to mentor her FR*EE of Charge... She was surprised and was quite skeptical at first, but later she told all her problems in her life and also in business.
When I noticed that the time is right, I quickly invited her to attend our company opportunity meetings and she agreed that she felt that I am a better mentor than her upline. In fact, I am only using my heart and soul to listen to her and tell her that I can help you achieve her dreams with us.
Let's see how it goes and shall update my blog in due course of how this potential business partner process of joining me in the business.
