Sasha Jacob – 4 Signs to Switch to Wind Energy

Whether or not the environment has been taking the blows of human activities is still a point of debate. Although there is no doubt that humans are to blame for particular environmental issues, those who know better are still able to compensate for the damage.

The impact of burning fossil fuel due to global Energy demand has impacted the planet in irreversible ways. Sasha Jacob Capital Management Inc, discusses the future of the wind energy industry and how it protects the environment and its consumer.

The signs are apparent, and it’s safe to say we’re currently on the tipping point. Each day, the need to transition into a cleaner energy source is becoming relevant. These signs are commonly small, making them almost impossible to notice until they’ve become too large beyond our control.

Sasha Jacob cites the signs that we need to switch to wind energy.

1. An increase of air pollution across the planet.

According to the World Health Organization, air pollution has increased by 8% between 2008-2013. There are plenty of factors to be blamed for this. Coal-burning power stations, diesel farms, and non-EV vehicles are all significant contributors.

Cities are severely affected, and people living in these areas show high rates of chronic respiratory disease. The most common disease people suffer from is Asthma, a condition aggravated by airborne particles of pollution.

2. Hotter global temperature.

Just recently, the NOAA, Met Office, and NASA agreed that there had been a significant increase in temperature in the atmosphere. The year 2016 has been the hottest year ever recorded. Meanwhile, the UK has also experienced the same phenomenon, with a degree Celsius increase in their temperature since the 1970s.

Although facts and figures help back up the claim, almost anyone can attest that the earth did become hotter. The world’s climate has been in the extremes the past couple years, with sudden droughts and extreme rains that come and go.

3. Energy price hike.

Naturally, energy price hikes are indicators of supply and demand. Big energy corporations are charging more because there’s a limited supply of traditional energy sources versus the growing demand.

According to financial advisor Sasha Jacob, these market signals point to a higher environmental issue. The price hike is also why diesel farms need to be switched on to cope with the strain on the grid. Shifting to Renewable Energy, such as wind power, isn’t the only cleaner but is also relatively cheaper.

4. The Evolution of Electric Appliances

The latest statistics reveal that the average domestic consumption of energy in Canada has risen 12%% since the 1970s. This is due to a large number of electrical devices continually introduced in the market.

Smartphones, laptops, tablets, and other smart devices have become a necessity for the majority of the population. Although these consume a considerable amount of electricity, their benefits are unquestionable. Because of the latest technology, we are also becoming more efficient in almost every task handed to us.

5. Cheaper renewable energy.

Due to the scarcity of traditional energy sources, switching to renewable energy has almost become a necessity than a trend. The drop in its price has led to a year of numerous renewable production.

In recent years, the demand for renewable energy systems has been at an all-time high. Take wind turbines for example. A decade ago, wind turbines were inaccessible to some parts of the globe, just because it was too big or too expensive.

Because renewable energy has been given the attention, it deserves, almost anyone today can own a wind energy system. The rise in its popularity allowed developers to design new and improved models. Today, wind turbines come in all sizes, whether you plan on selling its energy on a large scale or want to power your home using a domestic wind turbine.

The decreasing cost of renewable tech made it more affordable to homeowners. Sasha Jacob believes the drop in its prices is only the beginning of the more positive changes in the industry.
