Renovations are tiring, stressful, and the decisions are never ending. We have highlighted some common mistakes that you should try and Avoid.
1: Don’t Ignore Layout
Always keep in mind that just because you can fit everything in the space doesn’t mean you should.
Always keep functionality at the front of your mind. A great example would be showers with doors that open into the middle of the Bathroom. Make sure you have enough space.
Try and make sure your shower, bath, sink, and toilet aren’t right on top of each other.
2: Use The Correct Materials
Make sure you use/select materials that can stand up to harsh cleaners and are not highly susceptible to mold, warping or distortion.
3: Don’t Forget Storage
One simple rule. No one complains about having too much storage in the bathroom.
4: Proper Ventilation
If possible, work in a combination of natural and artificial ventilation sources. Proper Ventilation is essential.
5: Plan Ahead For Lighting
If you spend a lot of time getting ready in the bathroom you are going to want to make sure you have lighting that doesn’t create shadows and is nice and bright.
