October means something different to me. Yes, I have all the fall feels. The dip in temperature, the changing leaves, no frizz hair and Halloween! I’m thinking about being Dottie from the movie, A League of Their Own. Actually, I’m not thinking about it – it’s going to happen. October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. When I was a teenager, my mom fought a long, 6-year battle with the disease. Sadly, two weeks before my senior prom, she lost that battle. The day she passed away, I made a commitment that I would continue to fight for her. For the past twelve years, I’ve attended, volunteered and supported BCA events and causes. This year, I feel extremely lucky and proud that I, actually we, can make more of an impact, together. I have a slew of promos and events lined up for the next 4 weeks all to support the BCA cause. Let’s kick cancer’s a**

Back here in Philly, I’ll be partnering with 2637 Brew, who have concocted a specialty pink cocktail that will be offered throughout the month. Then, on October 13th, I’ll have a pop up outside their restaurant as part of Girard Avenue Street Festival. With every Madalynne Intimates purchase, customers will receive a discount at 2637.
