The External Affairs Ministry of India has come up with yet another gift for all the Indian citizens. She has emerged with an idea for the economy which is seeing further to RIP in standing in queues and waiting for several days for your chance to come for applying for passports as she has noticed the main weakness point people frustrated in spending their precious time in long queues,
so she came up with the new initiative about the passport The External Affairs Ministry has come up with this initiative to reduce the work load on passport offices and also to make the process of applying for a new passport more simplified as public now can easily go to their nearest post office for registeration and applying the new passport.
passport services will be provided at selected post offices in the states of Rajasthan, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Jharkhand.
Currently 89 Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) are operating all across the nation along with the 38 main passport offices. As per the data given by the MEA, the government provided around 1.15 crore passport and other related services during 2016.
