Christmas in the Desert

Here in the desert, the temps are still high

and we're enjoying monsoon season.

The clouds make amazing sunsets.

The three peaks are our patio wall, the mountain in the distance, and the cloud above.

This summer Jim and I have spent many evenings on the patio enjoying the wild life. It never gets old. We have several hummingbird feeders as Phoenix gets a huge variety of the little visitors and many stay year around. This morning I happened to look outside and catch a glimpse of a roadrunner flying from the patio wall to the ramada roof. But when I got my camera, it was gone. So although this season has been difficult--recouperating from my fractured foot (which is healing and I'm back in shoes)--it's also been wondrous in many ways.

As always, thanks for your support and a blessed life back at ya.
