Yea so GRRM hasn’t got the Winds of Winter written – so what? There’s so much fantastic new stuff to be going on with, that I can barely keep track of it all. A lot of it (dare I say it) I like more than the Ice and Fire series which is basically historical fiction with the merest hint of fantasy, made popular mainly because of its initial shock value. Trouble with that is, I don’t think it can sustain the series at a high level.  We are potentially (the readers and long term fans) starting to see that. Over the next few weeks, (or from now on) I’ll be doing some blathered rants (recommendations based on my own biased opinions) of all the other great stuff you should be reading, and we can argue about it like good book lovers should! - Craig
