Hi everyone. This will be my first Book Review. It is called The Shack by Wm. Paul Young. I have heard much controversy about this book so decided to read it. Please everyone remember that it is a work of fiction. It is the insights and imagination of the author. The main character has undergone a life tragedy. During his journey to find some reasons for it all he encounters characters who lead him along a path. Some readers were very upset about the characters in this book. Or maybe it was the characterization they did not approve of. If you decide to read the book keep in mind it is a fictional account of a journey of one person and how he perceived the situation in his own mind. I really dont think the author was trying to cause trouble among believers. He just was using his own imagination in his own creative way. If you really look hard at the core of the story you just might find some interesting things to ponder about our walk with God. You dont have to agree with everything anyone says or writes or does, but you can still get something most of the time from everything you encounter. Give it a try.
