Do you know what crossed my mind when I read the title of the book? SKY
HIGH. I LOVE THE Movie. No matter how many times I watched it, I’ll be awestruck by the end of the day. Of course, it sucks when the movie is too short for your liking. Thrown into a school where you’re grouped into HEROES and SIDEKICKS would give an irk nowadays but at that time I was obsessed with it.
Even now, I want to watch the movie. My opinion is: Every sidekick
deserves to be recognized as a HERO.
Well movingon to the matter at hands, try not to be disappointed because there is no special high school. There are no super powers. There are no heroes. The story is about a boy/hero who died in the beginning and how it affects his friends.
Opening a scene with a death is somewhat depressing. I can’t disagree with the fact. Anyway, the boy who died had a gang of friends. It’s a weird group. Only the dead guy is the link between them. Other than that, there is nothing. He bonded with every other three guys. So now he is no more what will become of his gang?
The characters kind of fell flat for me. They didn’t kindle any emotions within me. And at some point of time, the plot moved like a mystery. It forcedly
reminded me of Riverdale (Archie comics) When you lose someone who was with you the whole time before, the sudden hollowness you experience couldn’t be explained. This is genuine and I accepted it when the characters couldn’t grasp the real fact.
Overall, the story was ‘meh’. Nothing interested me. So don’t know about the recommending part.
