Tower of Dawn (Throne of Glass #6)-Book Review

Chaol Westfall has always defined himself by his unwavering loyalty, his strength, and his position as the Captain of the Guard. But all of that has changed since the glass castle shattered, since his men were slaughtered, since the King of Adarlan spared him from a killing blow, but left his body broken.

His only shot at recovery lies with the legendary healers of the Torre Cesme in Antica—the stronghold of the southern continent’s mighty empire. And with war looming over Dorian and Aelin back home, their survival might lie with Chaol and Nesryn convincing its rulers to ally with them.

But what they discover in Antica will change them both—and be more vital to saving Erilea than they could have imagined.

MY THOUGHTS

After Empire of Storms another disappointment, I don’t know how SJM stretch a not so good plot to 664 pages, This is the real talent.

After 5 books this story moved to a new kingdom which was highly the Middle East/South Asia inspired, the Only thing which really made me LOL was the names, It was like SJM even named her characters after things I mean Hasar Seriously? or just shuffle 2 letters and make a new name?

Chaol was the only male character I liked from this series, but this book snatches that honour from him.

The story seemed too forced with just putting too many details and details and details, She is badly trying to connect all old characters to this situation which didn’t work for me at all and those a dozen characters she threw, no one was interesting enough to hold my interest, Even not the Sartaq after all that cutting his braid and tieing with arrow, Who does that?

So what SJM did in this series, made a couple in a whole book then moved them in a new kingdom where both fall in love with others which takes another book-length then this goes and goes and Yayyyy, a new series is here.

And I want everyone to die in the last book.
