Tags: book aelin series

The long path to the throne has only just begun for Aelin Galathynius as war looms on the horizon. Loyalties have been broken and bought, friends have been lost and gained, and those who possess magic find themselves at odds with those who don’t.

With her heart sworn to the warrior-prince by her side, and her fealty pledged to the people she is determined to save, Aelin will delve into the depths of her power to protect those she loves. But as monsters emerge from the horrors of the past, and dark forces become poised to claim her world, the only chance for salvation will lie in a desperate quest that may mark the end of everything Aelin holds dear.

In this breathtaking fifth installment of the New York Timesbestselling Throne of Glass series, Aelin will have to choose what—and who—to sacrifice if she’s to keep the world of Erilea from breaking apart.

MY THOUGHTS

Remember I took a break from this series in February, so after 6 months I decided to continue it and guess what in these 6 months I read about 70 books of different authors some I loved some I hated, but I encounter different writing styles.

And I realized how annoying sometimes Mass writing is, How she exaggerate things too much, how her characters are so self-centred and disguise their cruelty and lameness in name of swag and show off.

“Even when this world is a forgotten whisper of dust between the stars, I will always love you.”

After 6 months I forgot most of those million characters, It took me 100 pages to get into the book and I realized it is probably my last series of S J. Mass.

I mostly skim read this book because I was sick of everyone’s over swag and actions. I didn’t like Rowan in last books but now I don’t like both of them, Aelin turning into someone I couldn’t digest, she calls herself queen but her actions don’t match with her words.

Aiden and Dorian turns into negative show pieces who got a little real appearance in the last 100 pages or they got a little bit of time when they are trying to seduce their ONES

I just want everyone to die in the last book so maybe ending will turn better, Otherwise, there are so many elements in this series which continuously made me yawn
