20 Tips on How to enhance security of your Android device

With rapid increase in use of smart phones, these devices have become more prone to hacker attack who can steal any type of your information and eventually keep your privacy at the bay.  




Today we use mobiles just for everything – communication, transactions including banking, searching information and so much more. It is hard to ensure the protection of your device. It seems that security controls cannot prevent the potential threats entering our smart phones and tablets. It can be a major problem for businesses where employees use smart devices to interact with each other and higher levels.

How to secure your Android Device



  • Secured Wi-Fi: Do not use ambiguous, free and unprotected Wi-Fi connections without VPN technology. Similarly keeping your device’s Wi-Fi and Blutooth on all the time invites hackers to attack on your phone.
  • App Download: Downloading apps can cause a risk. While downloading an app, make sure it is provided by a popular and reputed source. Do not click on links that you do not know about.

  • Do not save all of your passwords– Most people save their passwords to site on their phone without imaging a fact what will happen if someone gets access to your phone. So do no save passwords of important sites on your phone specially of your banking and payment apps.




  • Locking Apps­ – It is essential to lock your apps particularly those containing private information that you want to hide from all.   • Malware SMS – SMS malware is also in trend. You receive SMS texts to install this or that app or click on unknown link and then a mysterious activity happens on your phone. So to prevent this to happen, never click on any link or download any app.
