In my 8-year Natural Hair journey, I have had many highs and lows with my type 4 kinky curly hair. Whether I’m trying to experiment with different hair colors or finding products that work for my hair type it can be tricky sometimes. Though despite it all, I will say that there is one product that my natural hair loves. For years I have been using shea butter, and it works wonders. It’s great for moisturizing, defining curls, and an excellent anti-humectant which can be very helpful during the summer months.
