Girls, Girls, Girls

Welcome back, guys!

If you weren’t aware, this past Wednesday was International Women’s Day, and since I was ill that day and unable to write a post, I thought I would dedicate today’s post to all my girls out there.

I thought I would share with you all some of the amazing women in the world who inspire and empower me every single day.

 Kate Winslet

Kate Winslet was my idol before I even knew what the word idol meant. I’ve loved her forever and as I continue to get older and more aware of the world and its many issues I continue to love her even more. Kate concentrates so much on making sure that women and young girls know that nothing is expected of them and not to sweat the small stuff and to say that she is my idol makes me so proud.

Michelle Obama
Michelle Obama is one of the most incredible women that is and will ever walk the earth. If you don’t find her inspiring then I seriously suggest you rethink everything. She’s just amazing. She not only empowers women but she empowers women of colour, and women from all backgrounds. Take a look at some of the Incredible Things she does for women both young and old, you’ll soon be inspired!

Emma Watson

Emma Watson has been one of my favourite actresses and people for as long as I can remember. I grew up with Harry Potter, so she played a big part in the influences I had growing up, and I’m so glad! She does such incredible things for women and for gender equality, it’s impossible not to be inspired by everything she does for this cause. She’s amazing!

Friends

I’ve only spoken about celebrities so far but I couldn’t write a post like this without including my incredible friends. These girls constantly empower me and make me so so happy, they’re seriously the best and as far as I have to turn to find support. I love them to the ends of the earth!

MamMy mam is hands down the most inspiring person in my life. She hasn’t done anything that most people would consider to be out of this world, but she brought me up alone and gave me everything I could ever want. We may argue a lot but I’d be nowhere without my mam and I love her to bits. She inspires me so so much.

So many other people inspire me, but if I tried to fit them all in one post I’d be here all week!
Did you do anything special for International Women’s Day? Who in your life inspires you?
Let me know in the comments!

Until next time.
