My name is Rodney Crawford Jr. and i am a lifelong 76ers fan...My first year of being a fan we were 9-73.My dad took me to a game and said son this is your home team..Had to be about 1973....Couple years later we get Doctor J and the rest is history...My cousin who at the time was a DJ for WDAS could get press passes for the Sixer games which he use to give to me..You could sit on the floor right under the basket or in the press box but the main benefit of the passes were locker room access after the games.One particular night after a game your DAD JELLYBEAN JOE BRYANT had you and your family in the locker room once everyone was dressed....JOE played for the Clippers at this time after being traded from Philly..Must have been 81 and the Clipps were in town you had to be 3 or 4....The look in his eyes when he was talking about you is something i can never forget....He told everyone your name and they laughed...(Hey Jellybean...Why you name your son after Japanese steak!!) And then when he told all those pro players that this boy here named Kobe Bean would become one of the greatest players ever and not just because of JOE but more so with his WIFES ( YOUR MOMS) genes...Those players really bust out laughing to the point of tears.   But they didnt know what JOE knew all along that that KOBE kid was destined for greatness..We all heard about your high school and overseas play and i was happy you got drafted by Charlotte because i lived in Charlotte at the time but hey YOU chose LA and the league made it happen( to the dismay of Vlade Divac)....Your career is legendary and JOE was exactly right..He and MOM birthed one of the best players ever....AND THATS WHY IM WRITING THIS LETTER.........It broke my heart to hear of a falling out with your MOM and DAD over money. The fact your dad was not with you during your retirement tour especially in PHILLY is very sad.....I know what you said...I bought my parents a house but its not good enough for them...Well KOBE BEAN if you buy your parents a 500k house and the buy your wifes parents a 2 million dollar house as a parent i would feel a way about that also.. Your kids are missing the most precious times with their grandparents....Your DAD is the ONLY man on this earth that TRULY LOVES YOU....ALWAYS HAS AND ALWAYS WILL    .When everything is said and done, When your wife divorces you ( its coming) after the playing days are over all you will have is the love of your family..So KOBE BEAN BRYANT...CALL YOUR PARENTS....GO OVER THERE ON YOUR KNEES AND BEG FOR FORGIVENESS AND BRING 10 MILLiON IN CASH FOR PARTIAL COMPENSATION...or this will haunt you for the rest of your life especially if something happens to them before you reconcile ....YOU dont know me and i dont know you but i saw and felt the love your PARENTS had for you then and now im sure..It had to be hard for a 19 year old millionaire with infinite fame to know exactly what to do and say..YOU grew up on television playing against JORDAN and TIM DUNCAN..But you missed some of lifes lessons like when you get caught doing something stupid dont bring your teammates name into it     (Shaq cheats on his wife also)...But now at the end of a playing career that JELLYBEAN predicted 35 years ago there is one thing thats missing...YOU HAVE THE RINGS YOU HAVE THE RESPECT..BUT YOU NEED YOUR PARENTS TO BE COMPLETE!!!!!!
