Time flies when you’re enjoying yourself, so it’s hard to believe that, by the end of today, it will be a week since we arrived and kicked of our shoes

After a week’s worth of downtime, I’ve eased myself into Relaxation Mode and it’s a very comfortable place to be.

I haven’t seen the dawn since arriving here and, if there has been a habitual stirring around that time of day, drifting off again is as easy as blinking your eyelids shut.

Our busy lives dictate that we constantly to need to drive ourselves towards the next challenge. We don’t allow ourselves enough time to unwind and recharge.

In just 7 days my mind has decluttered and is speaking to my Body and they are listening to each other in Relative Harmony.

My body will say ‘Joints are achy today ‘ and my brain will say ‘hobble with me, I’ll take you to a nice little sun lounger.’

My body is grateful but can’t stop itself from saying ‘and you need to finish reading Ruby Wax… you’re such a slow reader…’

I did say in relative harmony.

Deliriously excited to say I’ve another 7 days to recharge and declutter. To ease myself further into relaxation mode, with a smile on my face and a spring in my less-achy joints.
