Most popular TV serial ‘Diya aur Baati Hum’ fame officer Sandhya is blessed with baby boy. Sandhya aka Deepika Singh Goyal welcomes a baby boy with husband Rohit Goyal. The TV actress rose to fame by playing the character of Sandhya Suraj Rathi, a marwari daughter-in-law, who was also a police officer in the serial. Deeepika Singh fell in love with Diya aur Baati Hum director Rohit Raj Goyal and tied the knot in the year 2014. Deepika’s husband Rohit shared the news of baby’s arrival. She delivered the baby on Saturday, May 20, 2017.

Rohit told TOI, “Both mother and baby are doing fine. We are thrilled and cannot express our happiness. Deepika has been asked to rest for now and I think she needs it the most as she been so strong throughout.”
