Stripes on dresses may put a few people off but if you find yourself in France, then I highly recommend wearing it. I love stripes especially because there are so many cool variations of stripes so your styling options are endless. Since I was in France, I picked up this simple off the shoulders midi Zara dress with horizontal black and white stripes. This dress retails at only £12 and it’s a perfect holiday pick. I especially love the ruffle details around the shoulder area as it really screams cool French girl style. The best of all this dress is so easy to slip on between the beach and the hotel. Or just simply take it out to a lunch date. It was extremely hot in Montpelier, over 30 Celsius to be more precise so I think wearing light cotton or linen is your best option.
