Elucent Skincare Review

Elucent Skincare is a skincare brand manufactured in Australia to pharmaceutical standards using scientifically proven ingredients of high quality that claim to help reduce wrinkles, whilst keeping skin hydrated and improving skin texture and tone. When the opportunity to trial the two ranges available, Anti-Ageing and Whitening, I opted to try out the Anti-Ageing range and was swiftly sent the entire range – it was like Christmas!

Using the amazing ingredients of Vitamin E, C and B3, the Anti-Ageing range combine the proven wrinkle-reduction qualities of AHAs and the beautifying properties of a select blend of vitamins and I gotta say – I really enjoy using this range!

As I’ve been trialling the entire range over the past few months, I’ll walk you through my particular favorites;

  • Cleanser: I use this cleanser all over and while it does remove makeup well, I do tend to prefer to use an oil-based cleanser first then follow through with this foam cleanser. I use this cleanser around my eyes with absolutely no irritation at all, absolutely zero stinging! I always feel perfectly clean using this system, and will definitely repurchase this product.
  • Serum: I like to mix this serum with my nightly facial oil and love the way it glides on and leaves me ready for my nightly moisturiser. Of a morning, I use this before the day cream and have experienced no issues whatsoever.
  • Eye Cream: This eye cream is fragrance-free which I like – I’m not a big fan of hugely scented products on the face for the most part – and I always notice a difference the morning after applying this eye cream. Sometimes I forget to apply eye cream for a few nights – no idea how! – and the difference eye cream makes is phenomenal, it’s never too early to begin applying eye cream!
  • Day Cream: HG status – seriously! A moisturiser that has an SPF50+ that leaves me skin feeling soft and glowey without any grease is a certain winner! I will absolutely repurchase this for the rest of my life, well until a even higher SPF is used ha!

When introducing a new range of skincare like Elucent to your skin, especially those with levels of AHAs which can cause mild tingling upon application, it’s crucial to begin incorporating products slowly and over a period of time. To make life easier, Elucent have created a table for new users to safely ease themselves into the entire range here within 14 days.

To be 100% honest, I did begin to use the Night Cream but after being left with red dry spots every morning on my neck area, I have ceased using this product so if you are slightly on the sensitive side – best to start slow and work towards using this little guy. That said, if you more on the normal skin side, you’ll be fine!

Elucent Skincare is exclusive to Chemist Warehouse and My Chemist, but available both in store and online.

Is this a range you’ve tried or would? Let me know in the comments!
