April 2017 LustBox review time!

Everything was shipped in a small white box with the LustBox logo on top.

An info card included a list of all the items included in April’s box, as well as retail values for each one.
My Suited Life Tie ($30)
This dark green tie features an all over print with little white square-like configurations(?). It’s made of a silk cotton blend and has a real leather My Suited Life label sewn inside. I don’t know if it’s the green color or the heaviness of the material, but it feels more like a winter/cooler weather tie to me. Then again, I honestly don’t know jack about ties.
Jimmy Lion Big Apple Socks ($11)
The only thing better than getting a fresh pair of socks in a subscription box is having said socks sport a fun, whimsical pattern. Jackpot! These combed cotton socks are each printed with the skyline of NYC, complete with tiny yellow taxi cabs. They were made in Portugal and have a hand-linked seam on the toe, creating a flat and comfortable finish (no bulky seam!).
John Harris Bow Tie ($25)
I couldn’t find any information about this bow tie online, so… All I can say is that it’s a navy, maroon, and white striped bow tie and it has an adjustable, um… band? I didn’t see a label anywhere, so I’m also not sure what it’s made of. Note to LustBox: Provide more detailed info cards, please!
LustBox Shoe Bag ($14)
A basic white fabric bag with a drawstring closure and the phrase “All about the details” across the center. I typically pack my extra shoes in a plastic Wegmans bag, so this is certainly a nice step up. Ha.
Another nice, high value collection of items from LustBox. My favorite item this month was hands-down the NYC-themed Jimmy Lion socks. Love them! The total retail value of all the items in April’s box was $80! I don’t think I’d ever pay $14 for a fabric shoe bag, but even if I didn’t count that in the total value, it would still be well over the monthly subscription cost. — Remember, for a limited time you can save 25% on your first box with coupon code “LRB25“!
