So before I get into this, I owe all of you guys an apology for the lack of posts recently. You Dolls know that's unusual for me but I've had some health concerns recently that have kept me stressed. It becomes a bit hard to find motivation when you're in this situation. I'm done with visits to the doc till now though and will soon be lugging around a heart monitor for about a month so that won't impact my reviews like doctor visits seem to do. Anyways, I love you Dolls, I'm sorry for the absence and I'm working hard to get things back to normal here! Now how about we check out what this box from Coffee and a Classic has in store for us!

The Catcher In The Rye by J.D. Salinger --- It has been ages since I last read this (about 16 years if memory serves me correctly) and I think I'm due for a reread! Here's the synopsis from Goodreads:
"The hero-narrator of The Catcher in the Rye is an ancient child of sixteen, a native New Yorker named Holden Caulfield. Through circumstances that tend to preclude adult, secondhand description, he leaves his prep school in Pennsylvania and goes underground in New York City for three days. The boy himself is at once too simple and too complex for us to make any final comment about him or his story. Perhaps the safest thing we can say about Holden is that he was born in the world not just strongly attracted to beauty but, almost, hopelessly impaled on it. There are many voices in this novel: children's voices, adult voices,
underground voices-but Holden's voice is the most eloquent of all. Transcending his own vernacular, yet remaining marvelously faithful to it, he issues a perfectly articulated cry of mixed pain and pleasure. Bookmark --- A very nice, cute bookmark handmade by Coffee and a Classic. I love the little charm on the end!
Cookies --- How cute are these! Like adult animal crackers! These taxi cab cookies are Kosher Dairy and are made by CitySouvenirs.com.
Tea --- The play on words for this is fabulous. The Catcher In The Chai blend is crafted by Adagio Teas Signature Blend. It's highly caffeinated (yay!) and is a blended black tea with ginger root, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon bark and coconut.
Mug --- Becase you can't get a great tea without a mug to go with it! This is a large 15oz ceramic mug that is a custom design by Coffee and a Classic.
Candle --- This Catcher in the Rye inspired candle is handmade by North Ave Candles. It's a Bourbon and Tobacco Flower scent Carmel and vanilla undertones and it smells warm and woodsy but still a little sweet.
Well this was a wonderful box! I love that it's based around classics (which I tend to forget about) and that it's curated to really let you sink in, relax, and enjoy your reading experience! It's fantastic!
