How to Buy a Laptop

I own a computer! If I ask you to drive your thoughts a decade back, the statement was very rare to be listened. Those who had a Computer, were supposed to be superior among many. I shared an article on USB 3.0 Pen Drives and if you read it, it starts with how the mass storage came into our pockets. Technology is unpredictable and of course, it is applied on computers as well. Rather, I would say, computers are now used to create advanced technology. Though the journey from a desktop to a Laptop did not take much time, but yes! If you look behind, you’d see the difference yourself.

The image below is not about the computers, but will show you how the technology has changed and evolved over the years similarly, after the desktop, now you can keep your laptops on your lap and hence it is called a Laptop.

I had a desktop computer years back, which was assembled with multiple brands. For the last 3 years, I’ve been using a Toshiba Laptop (Toshiba Satellite C640) and I would like to share its visual experience with you and how rough I’ve used it, still it works the way it used to. Here is the Configuration I have in it.

  • Processor – Intel Core i3 (2nd Generation)
  • RAM – 4 GB
  • Storage – 500 GB

Buy a Laptop

No matter how much you pay for your gadget, if you are not comfortable sitting in front of it, it’s not worth. According to you, What do you think is the most prior thing you should look at before buying a Laptop? Design? Well! Yes, it’s something which is displayed when you are trying to opt among many. You need to make sure that it’s color does not irritate you, as obviously you won’t be able to work on it for hours then.

Configuration of the Laptop

Over the years, I’ve observed and to be true, many of my friends call me asking for what configuration they should go for. Now, this isn’t something you can ask anyone and go for. If you are looking to buy a laptop, you must be having a specific reason behind that (Watching movies is never the Reason :D). Depending on the job you need to do, your configuration can differ and so is the price. If you are not a computer expert, you can check out some expert reviews on the websites like TopTenReviews. Or you may call a friend who is having a bit of knowledge like my friends do.

What should be Prior?

Above I’ve told you about comfort, design and configuration. So, what do you think should be prior to you. You may either go for classy design, or you keep the comfort as your priority or, above all, you keep everything else aside and give configuration the importance. People usually get into a fix and decide to go for something which they regret later.

Well, don’t you think that collaboration of all these things would be an amazing experience for you! It surely will be. To make it a bit easier for you, I’ve shared a configuration of a couple of laptops by Toshiba. Remember, I am sharing Toshiba because I trust this brand for quality, comfort and processing, not because I personally use one.
