Those who serve God are God’s personnel, they are special kingdom envoys on the earth and God always wish them well – Jer.29:11.

Those who serve God are blessed. (Exo.23:25 says: And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfill).

It is important to note that if blessings, sound health and longevity is your desires, then serving God is the demand.

However, your mentality matters much if you must secure your entitlements in serving God. You must of a necessity carry an engagement/appointment mentality, see yourself as an engaged personnel.



Understand that you are not serving God for nothing, you are not serving God just to make heaven, you are serving God for the fulfillment of your destiny – (no one fulfils destiny in heaven, destinies are fulfilled on earth).

1. You Must Possess an Appointment Mentality: Everyone on the go for God is on an appointment with Him therefore entitled for wages – Luke 19:1,7, 1Cor.15:58.

Appointment mentality is self motivating, just like you don’t need any motivation to go to your own work because you know that there is a wage at the end of the month

2. You Must Possess a Sewer Mentality: Seeds don’t die, they germinate and grow into plants and bear fruits for the planter. No seed sewer stays hungry or in lack of food to eat.

Therefore, don’t be tired in sewing your seeds of service – (Gal.6:7&9…Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up).



3. You Must Possess an Investor Mentality: You must always carry the mindset of an investor; this is what keeps you going because you know that at the end dividends will be declared.

4. You Must Possess a Partnership with Christ Mentality: This is one mentality that positions you on your well defined lane to serve effectively. Exo.4:11, Mat.28:18-20.

No matter what happens, partners don’t quit because they know that their partner is always with them leading the way – Jn.10:4-5

5. You Must Possess a Reward Mentality: Every one of us must believe that He rewards our services – Heb.11:6.

When you carry a reward driven mentality, you will never wait for groups or service units - Rev.22:12, 1Cor.3:8. Wherever you find yourself serving God, do it heartily and joyfully. Always make extra input, don’t stop where others will stop.

Benefits of Serving God:

1. Supernatural longevity: Those who serve God heartily don’t die prematurely, God will always keep them. – Isa. 38:1-5

Daniel, Meshach, Shedrack and Abednego could not be killed prematurely because they were servers.

2. Divine Protection: Every one servant of God is divinely protected – Luk.1:19.
Job enjoyed this high level of divine protections – Job 1:9-10

3. Peace/Joy Unspeakable: Those who serve God never murmur or complain rather they enjoy uncommon peace and joy – Jn.14:27.

4. Honor and Dignity: When you are a God server, you enjoy all manner of honor and dignity in life.

5. Divine and Human Favor: When you are an addicted server in the business of God, you enjoy all manner of favor in life – Psm.102:13-14
