We had just arrived on one particular Friday evening. It was well into the summer season. We had just checked in as usual. We looked over at our usual favorite spot. My husband looked at me in astonishment. "Someone took our spot" he exclaimed! The look on his face was priceless. You would have thought we owned the property. I said "Well, we just should have left earlier." "That's what happens when you wait until the last minute." For a few seconds, I thought he was going to go tell the strangers to get out of our spot. He just stood there staring over at our usual spot.Finally,
I said "we are just going to have to find another one". After looking around for a little while,
he finally pointed one out. Feeling relieved, I got back in the car and we went to the spot that I actually liked better because it at least had grass growing in it. That became our new spot and we always arrived early to make sure that our spot did not get stolen again. Publisher:Kimberly Wetsel
