2012 TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships Results

The 2012 Wta Championships at Istanbul had been concluded, but as everybody expected No.3 seed Serena Williams came out on top at the expense of No.2 seed Maria Sharapova. Though she haven't ended the year ranked No.1 player of this season, but she clinched this year's huge and most coveted title, namely, the Wimbledon, the US Open, the Gold Medal at the Olympics, and most recently, the 2012 WTA Championships. Did I predicted it right? My pick for 2012 TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships Champion.

Since her sole first-round exit of her career in Grand Slam tournaments at this year's French Open, losing to Virginie Razzano, Williams has gone 31-1 with her sole defeat at the hands of Angelique Kerber in the quarterfinals of Cincinnati. Williams finished her 2012 season with 58-4 win-loss record, winning her third WTA Championships and the oldest player to do so at age 31.
