FINDING WORK-LIFE BALANCE | GEET SINGH

In today's post, I might not share something reformative but I am sure once in a while we all can use a little reminder.
HERE IS YOURS:

Sometimes it's important to me to just soak in the experience and separate my family and friends time from my working life, however, I will be completely honest doing that wasn't easy at all, I wasn't particularly posting anything on my social media accounts but I was still using them once in a while. Something you might not know about me is I have tended to be a workaholic in past and it's something I want to improve and hence I am moving towards Finding a work-life Balance.

Even if you’re not a workaholic you must have experienced the Pressure of work and studies some point in your life and I know that I feel this pressure a lot in my life again since I am working full time and handling college as well. This pressure sometimes does make me think that I should be starting something of my own however that's going to take some time, realistically I would be working more then but I would be enjoying it and maybe then this pressure won't feel like pressure anymore.

A lot of the time we convince ourselves that we don't have time for self-care we are stuck on the GO & GET IT and time is money kind of mentality and so we think time is better spent when we are working on something and don't get me wrong having a good study/ work ethic is important and amazing but at the same time I think it can really set us back sometimes.

Productivity is short lived if you don't find time to balance your life and recharge a little bit.
It's the thought you need to create that small things matter too, it doesn't have to be a big fat holiday it could be a small thing like journaling or to cook something for yourself or spend time with your friends.

while you take this time out you learn about yourself more, you find a solution to a problem that has been bogging you for a while and you start to find your inner peace which later adds up to your healthy productive life.

I sometimes try to have so much control on my conscious mind that I don't give my subconscious mind the opportunity to intrigue me with its insights as well, so if you want to add to your feel-good vibes let yourself recharge and take time off and find a balance.

All this can really help you when you return to your work or studies. Since you will start to feel renewed and can find ways to work with some new inspiration.

Give yourself a break to find balance, to relax and enjoy your life.

Until Next Time, Take Care.
