She was exorcised by a priest till 6 months long. But, she died after that . The actor experienced supernatural things happened around her. She had given an interview where an interviewer asked ‘ Do you ever experienced supernatural things during shooting or after the film?”. Actor replied, “When we were shooting, my stereo kept turning itself on in the middle of the night,” the actress revealed after shooting wrapped. “It freaked me out because it started playing Pearl Jam’s ‘Alive’ — just the ‘I’m still alive’ part. It stayed with me for a while.

The Exorcist, one of the famous horror movie which was said to be cursed. It was one of the highest grossing movie in the history. The Exorcist is a 1973 American supernatural horror film , was directed by William Friedkin and starring Ellen Burstyn, Linda Blair, Max von Sydow, and Jason Miller.
It experienced the troubled production right before the start of the shoot. Many believed that an evil entity was residence in the celluloid itself. Report Said that nearly a dozen mysterious deaths occurred in the families of crew members.
People firmly believed the alleged curse when the actor named jack MacGowrna, who played Burke Dennings, died of influenza rightly after the completion of his scenes. Other suspicious deaths of actress Vasiliki Maliaros, Max von Sydow’s brother and Linda Blair’s grandfather happened after the completion of the film.
The strange things continued even after the movie was shot. In Rome, a church near the theater where one screening of this film was on, was struck by lightning after the shows started.

3. THE OMEN (1976):

Just three years after the release of the movie The Exorcist, The Omen movie crew members experienced the same rash of mysterious deaths before, during and soon after the film was shot.
Star Gregory Peck’s plane was struck by lightning, director Richard Donner was hit by a car right around the time of filming and an animal wrangler was eaten alive by one of his tigers a mere two weeks after production wrapped.
The most disastrous death of special effects artist John Richardson was an example of so-called ” Omen Curse”.
The artist was involved in a fatal car accident, which beheaded his female friend.

4. THE OMEN (2006):

It is said that if a cursed thing transferred to another place, the curse is carried over to the new place. Same things happened to the Omen movie. The cursed movie’ The Omen1976′ was remade in 2066. And the alleged curse is carried over to the new remake movie.
Those involved in the making of The Omen remake experienced tragedy happened during, before and after the shoot.
Much like with The Exorcist, it seemed that the Devil himself didn’t want the film to be made, a sentiment that most fans agreed with.
Director John Moore told in an interview that an entire two days of footage was lost and the broken camera displayed message “Error 666”. Surprisingly, the camera wasn’t programmed for these type of software.
Due to these suspicious activities, director firmly believed that an evil entity attached itself to the production.

5. ROSEMARY’S BABY:

Rosemary’s Baby( 1968) is a psychological horror movie, was directed by Roman Polanski. It was based on the bestselling 1967 novel of the same name by Ira Levin.
Producer William Castle was convinced that the Rosemary’s Baby had a demonic curse attached to it. He received countless letters from an unknown person. He threatened Castle saying,’ “Bastard. Believer of Witchcraft. A worshipper at the Shrine of Satanism. My prediction is you will slowly rot during a long and painful illness which you have brought upon yourself.” Rightly after that, Castle suffered from an excruciatingly painful urinary blockage and he famously shouted “Rosemary, for God’s sake, drop the knife!” during one operation.
Another strange thing happened with director Roman Polanski’s pregnant wife ‘Sharon Tate’. She was killed by murderous gang rightly one year after the release of Rosemary’s Baby.
The more scariest things that the film’s composer died of a brain clot one year after release, much the same way a character in the film dies.

6. CONJURING:

Conjuring is one of the most successful horror movies. It is based on the real-life incidents. I have noticed that whenever a horror movie is based on true paranormal events, the production tends to have some sort of curse. And the Conjuring is the most suitable example of it!!
They gave the new life to those entities in the movie which haunted the Perron family. Star Veera Farmiga felt very uneasy during the film shooting. She told that one night she opened her laptop and noticed three slashes across the screen, which she could not identify the source of. Wan had a similar experience when his dog was growling at something but no one was around.

7. THE POSSESSION:

The Possession was released in the year 2012. It was inspired by real events, centering on a ” Dybbuk Box”. Crew members felt that a wine cabinet was possessed by an evil spirit. All the cast and crew member were terrified of that box. They felt that this box has evil power in it.
Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan confirmed that strange things happened on the set like light bulbs exploding, cold breezes and the set being imbued with an overall creepy vibe. At one point a storage facility burned to the ground, destroying the titular box made for the movie.
It is said that director wanted to include the real box for the scenes, but it was politely declined. Best not to mess with things like that!
