Being a Parent is HARDWORK! ha! That’s just an out right fact and sometimes you just need that break or helping hand to make it through the week, day, minute or second hah! Something I found beyond stressful while pregnant with Derry was finding child care for Corey for appointments and scans. Mark would be at work and it was difficult for him to have the time off. Most of our family live over an hour drive away so we were often left stuck! Not just for that but for a night out finding a babysitter was difficult too! Im sure parents across the country have felt that exact way! And this is where Childcare.co.uk comes in.
Childcare.co.uk helps close that gap between parents and care providers such as nannies, au pairs and babysitters . Even helping in the search to find a tutor for your children or a private midwife for your pregnancy journey! They even help explain what each role and what the expect pay is!
The site is AMAZINGLY simple to use, they even have a mobile app to make life just that bit easier. The picture is quite self explanatory. You enter what you are looking from the list and then enter your postcode.
This then brings up profiles registered on the site and something i thought was excellent is there is a section on each Profile that shows qualifications, experience and most important whether or not the individual has provided proof of CRB checks etc. And if the profile hasnt they advice you to ask for this to be provided on arrival to your home.
I think that is a great extra security measure they take so us as parents can be completely reassured that our children are in safe hands. I know me myself always worry when im not with them so knowing that the site just lets you know each detail especially when it comes to safety is a great feature.
The profiles also show a bit about them and the availability of each person. I just think the whole site is actually an amazing tool for parents.

And i am beyond shocked at how many there are in my local area! So many and i even messaged a couple today about their availabilty coming up for child minding in september for Derry for a few days a week. I always find it difficult finding a child minder its more word of mouth but now i don’t have to be asking every mum in the school if they know someone haha! I would never have known they existed if it wasnt for Childcare.co.uk
It’s also completely free to register and they also have a great section for those in the sector looking for jobs!
I’m going to insert a quick video to show just how easy, simple and quick the site is to use this is just in my local area but there are thousands of providers across the UK.
