So, I have a Quick minute and thought I’d give a quick update.

Since starting my blog, I’ve posted a few poems that were already written and a few that I wrote on the spot for blog posts. But, the last year or so, I’ve taken all the poems I’ve written, and added them to a document.

This, will soon be my poetry Collection.

IT’S ACTUALLY GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!

At this very moment, I have 95 poems (yes, I counted them all). I’ll be going through them and picking them apart, deciding which ones will be published together or if I’m separating them at all.

This collection already has a name, but I’m not sharing it yet. It means a lot to me and I’m deeply connected to the title…some of you may already know it.

I’ve never done this before so I’m not entirely sure how long it should take/ will take.

I think to start, I’ll be reading through everything, dividing them up if I choose, and coming up with a blurb to encapsulate the overall feel and idea for my collection.

Next, I’ll probably give my boyfriend the first read through, just to see what he thinks of them/ if any big changes could be made. Then, my family and a few close friends.

I’ll then start the editing process, first by myself, then finding others to help.

From there… more editing, beta readers, and….publishing??!?!??!
I’m pretty sure I’ll be self publishing!
