WHAT IS GOOGLE ADWORD?

What is Google AdWords?

Google AdWords is an online advertising service on Google Search Engine Result Page (SERP) to help marketers reach their customers instantly. They are paid ads for online promotion of business or any products or services. It’s useful to display the ad on the first page of search result to easily interact with users. Google AdWords’ system is based partly on cookies and partly on keywords determined by advertisers. Google considers many factors before deciding which ad to display first, as well as the sequence of ads that follow.

The Advantages of Advertising on Google

1. Searchers Have [Local] Buying Intent

Generally, people searching on Google typically search for keywords. For example pizza; if anyone searching on Google it is not too presumptuous looking pizza after lunch and dinner that of the whole of the day. It should show only the specific area or geographical location of branding.

If you compare with Facebook advertising ; suppose you are targeting on specific location of advertising the pizza, but who already knows the pizza restaurant or who is not interested in pizza or for someone who is looking for vacation trip advisors for them this ad will not be effective. That’s the reason why Google ads are successfully effective in this manner as they actually target specific locations. AdWords often offers the best results purely because the people you find will be actively searching for a product or service that you offer.

2. You Only Pay If Someone Clicks On Your Ad

Interesting factor is that you only have to pay money when someone actually clicks on your ads. AdWords offers services under a pay-per-click (PPC) pricing model. Anyone who comes across your ad is likely to already be interested in what you have to offer and so you are paying when they click your ad, it is usually worth the cost.

3. Advance tracking ability

If your ad is in running condition and getting many number of clicks but no purchases of your products then it’s of no use. So you will need an effective landing page to display your ad properly. To work properly of ad campaign we calculate the exact number of customer click on ads.

How Does Google Determine If your Ad Will Display on the Search Results Page?

BID-

Using Bid value you can suggest Google as to how many people can interact with the keyword. It is manually or automatically dependent on the users for eg: in flowers shop campaign, related keywords like red roses stem orchids etc which is one bid set value for the keyword “flower”. The secret is to really step into the shoes of your site visitors to find out how they got there and what they’re looking for.

Quality and relevance of the ad

Your add is shown to the relevancy of that same keyword suppose as a user searching for wedding shop it has Google sense that relevancy of this keyword to show ad so you want to add a different keyword to the relevance of that same keyword which has already to show on the campaign.

Landing page experience

When the user lands on your page after clicking on the ad, the user experience needs to be more fascinating as this gives you more publicity otherwise the user may return back to its search page. So the landing page should be user friendly.

Differences between Mobile and Desktop Advertising

The ads shown on desktop and mobile are in same manner i.e. upwards and downwards on the site. But we should analyze that mobile users are more than compared to desktop users and some of the additional extension like call extension needs to add-on mobile.

How different types of Campaign work:

Each advertiser network has a different type of campaign to suit your goal

Campaign types include:

  • Display Network only
