FOUNDATION: FLAWLESS & MINIMAL

First things first....you cannot achieve a smooth application if you are not exfoliating your skin on a regular basis (2-3x per week)
Ok. Let's go!
STEP 1
Since you've cleansed and moisturized your face the evening before, (right?) you're ready to go. Add a touch of your moisturizer or eye cream to any area(s) that may still be dry.
STEP 2
Select either a tinted moisturizer (if choosing, omit the AM moisturizer application) or your favourite Foundation with a little more coverage and lightly dot on the forehead, cheeks, nose and chin.
STEP 3
Grab your foundations Brush and blend in an outward swirling motion until blended.
STEP 4
If your undereyes aren't suffering from the blues, apply your foundation as a concealer. If you find that they're looking a little tired, add your full coverage foundation sparingly to the dark area(s) only. Blend using a clean eyeshadow brush that is soft and fluffy; this will help you achieve a streak free, well blended application.
STEP 5
As always, step back from the mirror and have a look at the big picture. This is the best way to sight any need for additional blending or coverage. Once satisfied, find a way to look at yourself in the natural light. If your foundation looks Flawless in this light, it'll look that way in ANY light! Truth. Should your base appear a bit heavy, I find the best way tone this down is by using a moisture spray and then smooth out using a clean blush brush or clean foundation brush to be sure that you are not redepositing any unwanted foundation.
A Tip to Remember:
When it comes to skin, especially in the light of day, less is so much more. Always check your work in natural light to be sure that your skin will look flawless in ANY light.
