The truth is while quitting your job and Traveling the world sounds adventurous and romantic -and it is – there are some real considerations to think about before getting that one-way ticket to Thailand. Was I comfortable when I traveled overseas in the past and what lessons did I learn?

What is my dream country or continent to travel long term in? What do I currently spend the majority of money on (hint: these are your real priorities). Again, writing this all down so you can objectively look at it -and maybe have some trusted friends look at it as well – will help you make the best decision for you.

How Do You Plan To Fund Your Nomadic Life Style?

Surprise! You read that heading right – quitting your job and traveling the world does require some sort of funding. Depending how you want your lifestyle to be you will have to save more or less money. You may even have to plan on working while overseas – so it’s a great idea to have sufficient emergency funds in place in for unforeseen events or periods in between jobs. Bad Things Do Happen – Plan Ahead Before Traveling the World

I wish I could tell you that once your quit your job and travel the world that it will always be unicorns and rainbows. Unfortunately, sometimes your number is called, and bad things happen.
