Oppo F7, the upcoming smartphone by Oppo is set to debut in India on March 26. This new version is going to be the successor of Oppo F5 that was launched in 2017. According to sources, Oppo F7 has taken all the features of F5 to the next level.

The formal launch of this smartphone was announced via Twitter with a large image and caption that read as – “Make a way for new Oppo”. The announcement apparently showed an India cricket, who is likely to be the brand ambassador of Oppo.

Oppo F7 looks very similar to Oppo R15 that is going to launch in China soon. There are a few leaks regarding Oppo F7, based on which users will be able to access apps readily.

Oppo F7 Specifications

Drawing inspiration from Apple iPhone X, we can expect to see Oppo F7 in a similar design. The handset sports a bezel-less display and comes with a notch at the front. The device has a fingerprint reader slotted at the back and features a metallic body.

As for the Camera, it is likely to come with 16-megapixel rear and front camera of 25-megapixel. The front camera sensor will support features such as – AI Beauty, Real-time HDR, and SI selfie.  It can be considered as a smartphone that aims more on camera. Base on rumors that have surfaced last week, Oppo F7 would be load with a non-removable Li-Ion battery of 3,400mAh – giving 13.5% more battery life than Oppo F5.  According to experts, it can last for 15 hours on a single charge.

It has connectivity options like USB .0 port, GPS, Bluetooth, 4G with VoLTE and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. It has dual SIM support so that users can use two networks in parallel.

Oppo F7 will come with AI-powered features for selfie camera. The company has revealed in a press note that Oppo F7 will to ship with AR and A- based features on the front camera.

The key feature of this handset is that it will support gestures and allow users to navigate between apps easily. This feature of F7 resembles the gesture control of iPhone X.

App-in-App view feature gives users the ability to record and share videos of gameplay on the device.  Oppo F7 will allow users to capture their gameplay and upload it to social media platforms like YouTube and Facebook. The features of Oppo F7 will surely delight selfie lovers and gamers.

Price

We have to wait until launch to know the exact price of Oppo F7. It is expected to come at a price range of Rs. 22990 to Rs. 25990. It may come in many color options such as – Gold, Red, and Black at the same price. Pricing is one of the biggest mysteries of Oppo F7, as the company says it is going to be available for a competitive price.
