5 Ways to Grow Your Faith

Ever felt like you couldn’t get back on track, your head is full of things you need to do that you forget what’s most important? It helps me to make lists about things that I need to do every day or simple list about how I want to better myself. Here are 5 easy ways to grow but also keep your Faith.

Hearing Gods Word
It’s important to meditate on scripture and hear the words speak to you. We often read the Bible like a simple book and forget the important details that God is trying to tell us.

I used to struggle with reading the Bible because I read different chapters at once without meditating on them, it led me to be confused or unmotivated to consume my daily doses of wisdom.

Write everything down
While (or after) meditating on Gods word it’s essential to write the important things down. Such as questions, mnemonics, Important Bible verses etc. My friend reminds me of this because not only is it proof it’s also an important note on how you study the Bible.

Believing in the Word
The Bible is proof of a living God and his son Jesus who died at the cross because of our sin. Believe in everything in Bible from Genesis to Revelation, but also every other beautiful thing that is written. Amen if you believe that you are beautifully and wonderfully, that Jesus is the risen King and that God promises will be fulfilled.

Actions speak louder than words
The last step on how to grow your faith is to keep in mind that Actions Speak Louder Than Words. It’s a cliché that keeps repeating but it’s true, it’s better to speak and act on it than speak and let the words dissolve as if they had no meaning. Don’t say I’ll be there tomorrow if you’re not going to come over tomorrow. So, if you pray that you want to better yourself and you need Gods help by doing so then work on it so God can pitch in during your process.

Keep Growing
Hold on, last but not least just one small thing that you need to remember is to hold on to your faith. At times it can be difficult and hard to stay strong, but in those moments you’re stronger than ever, believe me! Ask your brothers and sisters for help if you feel stuck but first pray to God and fast so you can keep growing in faith.
